These figures are drawn from data reported by all Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) \u2014 ARIN, APNIC, RIPE, LACNIC and AFRINIC. The statistics focus on transfers of <strong>unused <\/strong>IP addresses and exclude those resulting from mergers and acquisitions. The least activity was observed in January, with only 402 transfers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" transferred (<strong>5296<\/strong>) followed by ARIN (<strong>1628<\/strong>) and APNIC (<strong>1014<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img <strong>336<\/strong>, followed by the ARIN (<strong>98<\/strong>) and APNIC (<strong>43<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARIN had the most outbound transfers (transfers to other RIRs) at <strong>234<\/strong>, followed by the APNIC (<strong>159<\/strong>) and RIPE (<strong>79<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfers by IP block size<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a shift from 2022, where \/22 blocks were the most transferred, 2023 saw \/24 blocks taking the lead, followed by \/22 in 2021 with a total of <strong>8333<\/strong>. This was followed by <strong>7615 <\/strong>transfers in 2023 and <strong>6540 <\/strong>in 2020. The peak year was 2018 with <strong>111.51 million<\/strong>, followed by 2020 with <strong>83.33 million<\/strong>.
